A year after posting a strong 7-2 mark, the 1969 Bearcats season would be a near carbon copy of the previous campaign. There would be very little differences between the 1968 and 1969 teams though the ’69 Bearcats featured a slightly improved offense and defense as the team started out 4-0 to start the season. Despite being a better team, the ‘Cats still fell to Mount Baker and Langley to put themselves out of contention for the Cascade conference title. For the second year in a row, the Bearcats ended the year with a great 7-2 year that was tainted by another missed opportunity for a title.
