After a successful 1992 campaign, the 1993 squad could not maintain the same results. Finishing with a lowly 2-7 record, it would be Monroe’s first losing season since 1985. The ‘Cats struggled mightily at the beginning of the year as they lost five in a row to start the season. A close win against Bainbridge and a win at Lynnwood to close the season were the only highlights in a dismal season.
