Despite starting 2009 with optimism, the season for the Bearcats was featured little improvement as the team finished 3-7. The first two games of the season seemed promising as the ‘Cats dominated Shorewood and defeated Oak Harbor but the season quickly fell apart. The Bearcats went 1-7 to finish the year as a seven game losing streak erased what had been a hopeful start to the season.
