After a winless season the year before, the 2008 Bearcats were quick to get back on the right track under the direction of new head coach, Dave Telford. Winning their opening game, the ‘Cats stood at 2-1 by week four but this would be the extent of their improvement from the disastrous 2007 campaign. The Bearcats lost every one of their remaining games, sliding into a 2-8 finish.
