After a year being without a head coach, the Bearcats came back with a strong season in 1915. The first game of the year against Startup was not reported and the next week Monroe settled for a scoreless tie at Marysville. Following this game, the team went on a three game winning streak to put themselves in contention for a county title. These hopes would be dashed as a trip to Stanwood proved to be disastrous. Monroe suffered a 79-0 defeat at the hands of Stanwood, one of the worst losses in team history and proved to be enough to end the title hopes for the year. The ‘Cats recovered the next week and finished the season with a close victory against Edmonds.
