A year after a disastrous first season, Coach Ramey and the Bearcats showed massive improvements the following year with a 4-5 mark. Despite the team playing much better than it did in the previous season, inconsistent play throughout the season still held the Bearcats back. The ‘Cats hit on all cylinders during their victories as the offense and the defense looked strong but could not maintain their success for most of the year as their losses were by large margins. Still, the Bearcats managed to have some highlights on the year as they were able to defeat Lake Stevens twice but also fell to Sultan at the end of the season. Coach Ramey wouldn’t have an opportunity to further improve as he parted ways with the program, leading to the hiring of Steve Hanson for the next season.
