After coming off of a respectable 6-3 record the year before, the 1999 Bearcat season could not put together the same kind success. The season was plagued with inconsistency as the ‘Cats started out scoring only three points during the first two games before winning the next three of four, wins that included thrashings of Jackson and Meadowdale. With three games left, the Bearcats looked poised to finish the season off strong. Nevertheless, the team collapsed and ended the season with three straight losses, closing out a forgettable season with a 3-6 record.
