The 2005 Bearcats season was a major improvement over the 1-9 campaign the year before. Under the leadership of new coach Steve Hannan, the season started out on the right foot with a memorable triple overtime victory against Stanwood. The rest of the season saw the Bearcats struggle as a four game losing streak in the middle of the season all but eliminated a return to the playoffs. The ‘Cats won their last two of three, including a win against Lake Stevens, to close out the season with a 4-6 record.
