The 2006 Bearcats season improved slightly upon the success of the 2005 squad as the team posted a .500 record, the first season since 1998 where the team did not have a losing record. Though the team started 2-0, the season took a downturn as the Bearcats struggled midway through the schedule and came into the second to last game of the season with a 3-5 record. The ‘Cats rallied, defeating rival Snohomish in a slugfest by a score of 49-42 and won the next week against Mountlake Terrace to conclude the season.
