🡐 2015 Season 2013 Season 🡒

After two losing seasons, the 2014 Bearcats right the ship by posting a 7-3 record under new coach Brett Jay. Coach Jay and the ‘Cats began the 2014 with a 4-0 start that featured two convincing routs of Snohomish and Jackson in back to back weeks. Despite the early success, losses to Kamiak and Lake Stevens derailed any hopes of a WESCO conference title. Nevertheless, the Bearcats recovered and finished the regular season with a 7-2 mark, their best record since 1991. Meeting Graham-Kapowsin in the qualifying playoff round, the Bearcats had their season ended with a 42-17 loss. Even with a successful season and a strong core of young players returning next year, Coach Jay would depart after only one season at Monroe.
